VeryPC Warranty Terms and Conditions

1. Responsibilities of VeryPC

  1. VeryPC Ltd warrants VeryPC products used in the United Kingdom (UK Mainland) only against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 36 months from the date of purchase.
  2. In the event of failure of any product or part due to defect in materials or workmanship occurring within the warranty period, VeryPC will repair or replace the product with the same or better specification product at no charge for parts or labour.
  3. The sole remedy to the owner shall be repair or replacement. The remedies set forth are exclusive and in lieu of all other expressed or implied warranties.
  4. VeryPC’s intense quality control procedures help reduce the incidence of products which are faulty on delivery. Such products - ie. deemed to be faulty within 14 days of sale are subject to special treatment at the discretion of VeryPC and are typically collected or immediately replaced.
  5. This warranty covers products registered with VeryPC and no warranties will apply after 36 months from the date of purchase.

2. Responsibilities of the customer

  1. The 'fix me quick' serial number together with a copy of the sale receipt showing the purchase date are required as mandatory proof of purchase.
  2. The customer shall be responsible for collection and return of the product to and from VeryPC's base of operations (in the UK).
  3. Items missing from the package must be reported within 48 hours of receipt, please call 0845 0345 017.

3. Exceptions to Warranty

  1. This warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged by accident, abuse, software issues, misuse or negligence.
  2. Warranty is void if products have had their serial number label tampered with, altered, defaced or removed.
  3. VeryPC are not responsible for any data loss or damages resulting from any breach of warranty or any legal theory including lost profit, downtime, goodwill, damage to equipment or property or any other incidental or consequential damages incurring from purchase, use or inability to use the product.
  4. VeryPC will not warrant or bear any responsibility for third party equipment.
  5. VeryPC will not warrant or bear any responsibility for any product which has, subsequent to receipt by the customer, third party equipment installed. If such equipment is deemed to be the cause of the problem with the product all repairs will be chargeable.
  6. Any third party hardware which has been installed subsequent to receipt by the customer must be removed from the product prior to its return as VeryPC will not be held responsible for these items.
  7. VeryPC products are supplied with software from third parties that are not covered under warranties of any kind. Although VeryPC will attempt to help you with software problems, a returned machine under warranty with a software issue may be chargeable.

4. Charges and Carriage

  1. If VeryPC find no fault with the product you will be billed, at VeryPC's discretion, for labour and carriage.
  2. If 'faulty on delivery' returns are received back without the original packaging then VeryPC are not liable for any damage caused in transit due to the incorrect packaging used. If this is the case then you will be invoiced at VeryPC's current rate for repackaging materials and any cost for parts replaced due to said damage.
