Recycling your old IT equipment
Here at VeryPC, we take our Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) responsibilities very seriously.
What is WEEE?
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive defines the environmental obligations of businesses involved in the electronics sector. This means that certain businesses must recyle or dispose of electronic equipment in an approved manner and restrict the use of hazardous substances in their products. As a manufacturer of computers, VeryPC comply with the regulations set out in the WEEE directive, which we are more than happy to do, because they fit perfectly with our environmentally responsible approach to doing business.
What do VeryPC do with your old computers?
At your request, we will arrange for the collection of business IT equipment which we are replacing with VeryPC GreenPCs and GreenServers. We will send these old computers to a WEEE depot where their components will be recycled if possible or disposed of responsibly if not. We will also provide recycling information for home users who have old computers which we are replacing with VeryPC GreenPCs.
